In addition to top tier law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial law, Matthew has worked previously as in-house General Counsel & Company Secretary for an international renewable energy company. He brings a strategic and pragmatic approach to legal issues. He is also adept at navigating government and political contexts having previously served as a Senior Cabinet Minister in Tasmania holding the Attorney-General, Energy and National Parks portfolios. Matthew is based in Hobart, but splits his work activities between Melbourne and Hobart.
